She is not afraid to get into dangerous situation. When she was little, she was kidnapped from her home. However, a man saved her. Beth doesn't remember exactly who saved her. She does get flashbacks to that time quite often.
She's in a relationship with Josh, the D.A. They seem to get along comfortably. However, during a case, she met Mick St. John, a private investigator. She feels a strong connection to him and is increasingly attracted to him.
